Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley wins 3rd GRAMMY Award

Just exactly a week before his father's birthday, Damian Marley wins his 3rd GRAMMY Award for Best Reggae Album with his album Stone Hill. The announcement was made during the pre-telecast at the Madison Square Garden in New York City Sunday 29th, 2018. 

Damian, who has been nominated 5 times had the company of 2016 GRAMMY award winners Morgan Heritage, first-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Chronixx and Common Kings and finally, second-time GRAMMY-nominated artist J Boog. Just last year his brother Ziggy Marley won his 8th GRAMMY giving the winner a back to back win for the Marley's. 


Stony Hill was released in July 2017. It spent several weeks atop the Billboard Reggae album chart. It has to date sold more than 18,000 copies in the United States according to Nielsen Music.
