Calypso Rose keeps making moves internationally with her recent collaboration with GRAMMY Award-winning Beninese singer-songwriter Angelique Kidjo. After taking Europe by storm over the last few years, Calypso Rose takes on Africa with the Queen of African music Kidjo with their new song " Wah Fu Dance! " released on YouTube July 6th.
The BBC has included Kidjo in its list of the African continent's 50 most iconic figures, The Daily Telegraph in London described her as "The undisputed queen of African music" and Kidjo is the first woman to be listed among "The 40 Most Powerful Celebrities In Africa" by Forbes magazine.
Angelique Kidjo who performed in Trinidad and Tobago for an Emancipation Celebration in 2013 is a strong voice of Africa and her music is loved by millions all around the World.
"Wah Fu Dance!" is part of Calypso Rose's new album "So Calypso" out now on all platforms. Calypso Rose who is touring now in Europe has shown that age is just a number at age 78 she still continues to spread the flag of Trinidad and Tobago to the World and keeping Calypso music alive.
